10 Best Dallas Coffee Shops to Study and Get Work Done

These past two months I have spent a lot of time at coffee shops applying for jobs. So much fun (note the sarcasm). Anyway during this time, I was able to learn a little more about the coffee scene in Dallas and discover which coffee shops are phenomenal places to go study or get work done. So, if you are like me and find it difficult to work at home this post is for you. Here are my top choices for the best places to get your ish done.

1. Toasted

Hours: Monday-Tuesday 7am-9pm; Wednesday-Friday 7am-10pm; Saturday 8am-10pm; Sunday 8am-9pm

Atmosphere:The second floor is prime location to study. It has a chill ambiance with dim lighting and decent natural lighting. You can sit in the place for hours and have no problem. When I was there, there was a decent amount of other people working, which was motivational.

Wi-fi: Always.

Plugs: On the second floor, you can find a socket anywhere you sit. The first floor has seats with plugs, but you might not find them as easily. On the second floor, you can find a socket anywhere you sit.

Coffee + Food:They have such a solid food and drink menu. Will you starve? Never, not even possible. I am even considering visiting for brunch.

Atmosphere: There is a lot of space to sit down. You can sit on the couch if you want to be more comfortable or at a table to really get your ish done. There is plenty of natural light which is perfect for your eyes and your mind because when you get to bogged down with work you people watch the people outside.

Plugs: They have a ton. Literally, all the seats along a wall have a set of sockets.
