3 Spring Dallas Activities Must-Dos and Outfits

I am so excited for Spring because the weather is about to warm up.

I have a lot of plans such as going to Texas Tulips, having a picnic at Lake Lewisville, visiting Fredericksburg wineries, and even more. My biggest goal this Spring is to explore Dallas while looking cute.

I have already started looking at outfits that I want to wear to these different activities and I am excited. Since I plan to go to a lot of whimsical, airy, outdoor places I plan to wear flowy dresses. I don’t really wear many dresses but I got the inspiration to wear more dresses from the travel blogger, Jasmine Alley. In a lot of her pictures, she wears these amazing long flowy dresses and straw hats in the most amazing locations. I am emulating that.

While I am super excited to get out and explore these Dallas activities, I am even more excited about the outfits I am going to wear. I want to share my outfit ideas for each place.

1st stop: Texas Tulips

Texas Tulip at Pointe Place

Texas Tulips is a tulip field filled with rows of tulips in varying colors that creates an amazing backdrop for pictures and the best place to create a custom bouquet. They are located in Pilot Point, TX about 40 mins to an hour outside of Dallas making it a short road trip.

For my outfit, I am going for a classic look with minimal colors so that the vibrant colors of the tulips shine through. My outfit will be light and airy so when I take the pictures they look dreamy and nostalgic. I just purchased this blue and white maxi dress from Vici Dolls and white wedges from Charles and Keith to go with my look. Then I am going to pair it with my Mint and Lily statement necklace and my ” Hello Weekend” tote bag from Amazon to complete the look.

2nd stop: Picnic Look

Dallas Picnic at Lake Lewisville

For my picnic, I am going for an old-fashioned, retro look. I got this yellow A-line dress from Abercrombie that I am going to wear with my favorite Red lipstick from Anastasia and some black cat-eye sunglasses. Then I am going to try to create faux bangs and a high ponytail for my hair. I still don’t know what I am going to do about my shoe situation.

It is going to be fun putting this picnic together. I struggle with execution, but I am going to make it happen this year. It will be a great time filled with taking pictures, eating, and talking.

Stop #3: Fredericksburg, TX

All my looks for this weekend are going to be feminine and flirty. I have this dress that I bought from Petal and Pup last year that I still have not worn. She is coming out of the closet because she is too cute to collect dust and I am pairing them with my Charles and Keith wedges.

I am pretty sure you can tell how excited I am about my outfits because I am planning them out so far in advance. What are some activities that you are looking forward to this Spring?
