Brunch is my favorite meal.
If anyone invites me to eat out, then I will try to get us to go to brunch over any other meal.
There is just something about breakfast that makes my world go round. Just imagine the sun shining, a cute outfit, your girls, delicious food, and a mimosa in hand. It sounds like heaven.
Dallas has a great restaurant scene so there is no shortage of great DFW restaurants to try for brunch.
If that sounds like your vibe, then you should try out these restaurants.
1. Mercat Bistro
Location: 2501 N Harwood St Suite 225, Dallas, TX 75201
This French Bistro located in the Harwood District is a must-try. When you visit, put on your best Parisian outfit to take some great photos with your friends and eat delicious food. This restaurant feels like you have been transported to France. If you go here, I recommend you try the the Quiche Lorraine. It is delicious, fluffy, and full of flavor.
I tried the famous Peche Mignon which features an ice ball made of frozen fruits and orange juice topped with prosecco. It was cute and delicious. However, at the price of $16, if you are looking for a cocktail I would go with the traditional mimosa.
Parking: There is not a parking lot, but there is free street parking.
2. Whistle Britches
Location: 1230 Main Street, Southlake, TX 76092
When I think of this place I just think of delicious, crispy chicken. If Chicken and Waffles is your thing, you need to check out this place and make sure to pair it with the frose. Whistle Britches does serve a lot of meals featuring fried chicken, but you can also find Chorizo Hash and French Toast here. This is a casual, Southern restaurant that is lowkey where you can get your brunch fix.
