1. Biscuit Bar
I came across Biscuit Bar in 2019 when they first opened their old SMU location. I remember me and my roommate (at the time) camping out for their grand opening trying to get win their gift card and I fell in love with the restaurant, its vibe, and the owner’s story.
I have been working my way through the menu and have tried:
- Buffalo Bleu Chicken (9/10; not traditionally a fan of bleu cheese but it makes this biscuit)
- The Philly (8/10)
- Biscuit Bar (5/10; It was so thin and not filling)
- Steak & Egg (8/10)
- Hot Hot Chicken (can’t remember because it’s been a while)
- Hot Honey Chicken (8/10; yummy!)
- Fully Loaded Tater Tots
- Nanner Pudding (slightly overpriced but delicious but when ordered in person, when ordered to go it missed bananas and wafers)
They have happy hour Monday-Friday from 3-6pm and reverse happy hour from 9-10pm. Their cocktails are reasonably priced between $5-6.
