One of my favorite donut places in DFW is Detour Doughnuts located in Frisco. I came across this locally-owned artisanal doughnut shop on Instagram and immediately was hooked that they have a rotating menu so every month they swap out 3 flavors of doughnuts so there is always something new to try. My favorite doughnut to date is their seasonal key lime pie donut.

I recommend giving it a try not just for the doughnuts but the owner Jinny is an amazing person. She is very transparent about what is going on in the business and getting feedback from the community as she makes changes. You can tell she really cares for her customers and it shows in the ambiance of the store.
