Since moving to Dallas it has been challenge to find low cost or free things to do here. Though it is difficult it is not an impossible feat. Turns out you just have to do a little digging and you will definitely need a calendar because there is that much stuff. Instead of spending so much time in the house my roommate and I took matters into our how own hands.

I noticed the things on Pinterest tend to be the more touristy things that cost some serious bucks. However, also find some serious gems. Also, if you are into picture taking you can find a lot of murals in whatever area you're in especially big cities
Search suggestions:

2. City of (city name)
Every city for the most part has a website that has a tourist section that list cool areas to check out and events that are coming up. Some events will cost some will. Take what you want and leave the rest.
3. Facebook
Finally found the purpose of Facebook. Turns out a lot of people advertise events on Facebook. All you have to do is type in your city and tons of events will show up. The only downside is that it is time consuming. There are so many events that look cool that you will get stuck looking for them. This is where you will need your calendar.
4. Movie night/ Game night
If you have no interest in leaving the house, you can always just do a movie night or game night at home to chill and relax. My friends and I have a game night every month and it is something I look forward to every month.
What are some of the things you do to find free/inexpensive options? I need the info so let us know in the comments below.
