This week was so much fun leading up to Christmas. I spent some time focusing on self-care (i.e my hair) and working on my hobbies (calligraphy, blogging, and exploring the city). Now, I have cool things to do when I am bored.
1. How to Maintain a Braid Out

I found this Youtube video with tips on how to maintain a braid out. Normally my braid out looks good for a day or two, but it does not last much longer than that so I needed a solution. Based on the video, it seems like braidouts require some daily maintenance of braiding the front of my hair. It’s not a one and done.
Also, some of the additional tips I learned:
- Use the banding method to keep the back of your hair stretched
- When braiding hair, braid hair towards the front of your head to give a bang vibe
- Use mousse for definition
